Verizon Set to Roll Out Fiber Optic TV Service

Verizon, known for its phone and DSL Internet service, is jumping into the TV business. Starting in Texas, and expanding into other states by years end, FiOS (fiber optic TV service) will compete directly with Cable and Satellite TV.
