The home VCR has been a staple for recording TV shows for almost 25 years, but the end may be coming soon. Digital recording options, like the Digital Video Recorder, or DVR, and the DVD Recorder, have slowly been replacing the VCR. Once a DVR like TiVo was a novelty, but today many people use TiVo, or a comparable DVR from their Cable or Satellite provider. Just how long will the VCR continue to last?
