TiVo to Start Giving Away Set-Top Box?

Yahoo! is reporting that TiVo may begin to give away their set-top boxes as part of a move to win new subscribers. TiVo is becoming the big loser in the Digital Video Recorder wars as Cable and Satellite providers push their own set-top DVRs. The free set-top boxes would be available in "exchange for higher priced and longer term plans". Read more at Yahoo.com
