TiVo Series 3 with 1TB Hard Drive?

Saturday May 12, 2007
The regular TiVo Series 3 HD Digital Video Recorder allows users to record about 300 hours of Standard Def and 32 hours of High Def programming on its 250GB Hard Drive. For those of us who strictly record HD, 32 hours just doesn't cut it. That's where TiVo seller WeaKnees.com comes in. They currently sell modified TiVo Series 3's with 750GB Hard Drives, which will give you about 100 hours of HD record time. They are soon planning to introduce a 1TB (1,000GB) TiVo Series 3 which will record approximately 144 hours of terrific High Definition TV shows. One warning, the 750 GB TiVo Series 3 currently sells for about $1250 (U.S.) from WeaKnees, so the 1TB beast will be even more expensive.
