AVerTV Bravo Hybrid PCI-E - Product of the Week

Thursday February 28, 2008

AVerMedia's new PCI-Express HDTV tuner can record ATSC, ClearQAM and NTSC television signals. Use the AVerTV Bravo Hybrid PCI-E to watch standard definition television or unencrypted HDTV signals from an antenna or cable box.

Like most other TV Tuners, the Bravo Hybrid can encode your high definition and standard def TV signals as MPEG-2 video files. Unique to this card is the ability to encode videos using the H.264 codec, allowing you to compress your videos to save space in real-time without the need for a fast processor. These H.264 video files take up less space on your hard drive, and are capable of recording to a Video iPod.
