Time Shifting is the recording of audio or video content to be viewed at a more convenient time. While time shifting is typically used to describe the use of a DVR to record television programming, the term can also be applied to radio through the use of podcasts. As well, certain satellite radio devices and computer software allow you to record programming to listen to at a later time.
