What I liked about Easy Media Creator 10:
Easy Media Creator 10, like the name suggests, is a very simple program to use. It includes helpful tips and instructions throughout each part of the many programs you can use to work with your digital media. For Video Capture, Easy Media Creator 10 gives users tons of options for importing Analog and Digital Video, including Video from HDV and AVCHD High Definition Camcorders. You can also import from just about any video file format. Creating DVDs is easy, with a full disc authoring application or a direct-to-disc option. Edit your videos with a full Video editing program, or let the program create a video for you. Burn Audio, Data, Video CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray or HD DVD discs. Import and export video from mobile devices, such as PSP and Video iPod. Easy Media Creator 10 is a truly comprehensive software suite for those looking to work with Audio, Video, Photos, Disc Copying, Backups and Mobile Devices on their Windows XP or Windows Vista PC.
What I didn't like about Easy Media Creator 10:
A few issues arose while using Easy Media Creator 10. The first was the installation time. My Windows XP test machine took approximately 15 minutes to install the full program. While this isn't a huge deal considering all the tools and programs Creator 10 gives you, I'd have liked to seen it a little faster. I did experience two instances where my PC froze up while loading a program from the initial splash screen. It happened after installation and after a reboot. Whether it was a Windows XP issue or an application issue, it didn't occur again while using the program extensively for the review.
